Over fifty new trees have been planted in Saugerties Village in the last 4 years, 26 in the last year alone!
We are on a roll, green and leafy. Join us and become be a part of the movement...
People need trees. Trees need people. A beautiful and healthy community is a tree-filled one. Trees contribute to the quality of air, reduce noise and visual pollution, help to moderate climatic extremes and conserve energy, as well as providing visual beauty and a quiet place of shade. Nothing is more inviting to visitors, or as lovely for residents then the tree-lined streets of a small town. Organized community tree programs are the most efficient and effective way to make sure village trees are protected and maintained, contributing to vibrant urban growth.
