Saugerties Senior Center, Market & Robinson -- Two Sunset Maples and one October Glory
We have big plans for Arbor Day 2019. It's our big day! Tree Cities all over the US celebrate their commitment to trees in their communities. It's a perfect time to raise awareness and funds, and focus attention on the work. We're going further though this year and turning the whole month of April into a celebration of our branched friends.
--We'll be doing our annual tree planting with the kids at Cahill School on April 25 (more details coming).
--We're hosting our first online fundraiser, Art for Trees Exhibition. Dozens of artists have generously made their work available in exchange for a donation to SVTC. We'll be posting images of their art all on Facebook and Instagram throughout April. Stay tuned here, and check in to our FB and IG pages for sneak previews starting in March.
--The month culminates in a treasure-packed garage sale with all proceeds go towards the buying, planting and caring for village trees. Stay tuned for date and place.
